Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Radiology in Greenville, South Carolina.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM or Saturday–Sunday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM; 8-hour evening shifts; scheduled coverage, no call; remote only.
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Full-time remote evening radiology coverage. Provider will provide evening ER and Neuro coverage. Typical volume is approximately 90–100 reads per 8-hour shift, including approximately 60 ER and 20 Neuro studies per day, with 60–70 wRVUs per shift.
Patient Population: Emergency and Neuro radiology patient population.
Setting: Remote radiology coverage for an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities: Interpret evening ER and Neuro studies across XR, CT, MR, and US while maintaining required productivity standards.
Required Procedures: Interpretation of XR, CT, MR, and US studies, with emphasis on ER and Neuro imaging.
EMR System: Epic; PACS: Change Healthcare (McKesson); Dictation: PowerScribe; Worklist Manager: RamSoft.
Days Per Month: Minimum 40 hours per month.
On-Call/Weekends: No call. Provider may choose Monday–Friday evening shifts or Saturday–Sunday evening shifts.
Requirements:
- Required: Board Certified Radiologist; provider must be licensed in the state where they will be reading.
- Required: Provider must maintain approximately 70 wRVUs per shift, work a minimum of 40 hours/month, continuously maintain 3 months of scheduled shifts, and be credentialed at a minimum of two client sites.
