Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Radiology in Jupiter, Florida.
Shift: Monday–Sunday, 4:00 PM/5:00 PM–12:00 AM; 7 days on/7 days off. 24-hour shifts of 7:00 AM–7:00 AM may also be available. Scheduled + on-call required; remote only.
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Full-time remote radiology coverage. High ED/inpatient-volume reader required, with neuro/MSK experience preferred. Approximately 90–100 reads per 8-hour shift and 60–70 wRVUs per shift. Provider must be able to produce at least 8 wRVUs/hour.
Patient Population: Emergency Department and inpatient patient population.
Setting: Remote radiology coverage for an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities: Interpret high-volume ED/inpatient studies across XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. Maintain required productivity standards and provide coverage during assigned shifts.
Required Procedures: Radiology interpretation across XR, CT, MR, US, and Nuclear Medicine.
EMR System: PACS: Merge; Dictation: Fluency.
Days Per Month: Minimum 40 hours per month.
On-Call/Weekends: Monday–Sunday coverage; 7 days on/7 days off. On-call required.
Requirements:
- Required: Board Certified Radiologist with current Florida license and BLS.
- Required: Clearly identify modalities the provider can actively read and interpret, with current experience; completed Modality Checklist required.
- Required: Include preferred shifts, currently licensed locations, locations willing to license for, and anticipated commitment/timeline.
- Required: Provider must maintain approximately 70 wRVUs per shift, work a minimum of 40 hours/month, maintain 3 months of scheduled shifts, and be credentialed at a minimum of two client sites.
