Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Radiology in Titusville, Florida.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; 8-hour shifts; scheduled coverage, no call; onsite only.
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Full-time onsite radiology coverage. Approximately 90–100 reads per 8-hour shift and 60–70 wRVUs per shift. Provider must be able to perform mammography procedures, read general radiology studies, and perform light interventional radiology procedures.
Patient Population: Adult/general radiology patient population.
Setting: Onsite acute care hospital.
Responsibilities: General radiology interpretation across XR, CT, MR, US, and fluoroscopy; mammography screening and diagnostic procedures; mammography needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies; light IR procedures; biopsies and image-guided drainages; diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, and epidurals.
Required Procedures: Mammography needle biopsies, stereotactic breast biopsies, thyroid/lung/bone/liver/renal biopsies, CT-guided and US-guided procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tube drainage, cyst drainage, diagnostic lumbar puncture, myelogram, and epidural procedures.
EMR System: Epic; PACS: Merge; Dictation: Fluency.
Support Staff: Not specified.
Days Per Month: Minimum 40 hours per month.
On-Call/Weekends: No call; Monday–Friday coverage only.
Requirements:
- Required: Board Certified Radiologist with current Florida license and BLS.
- Required: Clearly identify modalities and requested reads the provider can actively read and interpret, with current experience.
- Required: Provider must be able to maintain at least 40 hours/month and continuously have 3 months of scheduled shifts; productivity expectation is approximately 70 wRVUs per shift.
