Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

This position is embedded within a busy acute care hospital known for its commitment to excellent patient care and innovative medical practices. As an Interventional Radiologist, you will be supported by a dedicated team, including a manager and two APPs, ensuring comprehensive patient management and care delivery. The practice is committed to providing a full spectrum of interventional radiology services, with additional opportunities to engage in orthopedic, gynecologic, and urology cases.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The assignment begins on September 1, 2026, with an open-ended duration offering flexibility and continuity. Weekday shifts run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the role includes a third-weekend rotation for call coverage. There is an ongoing need for coverage of two weeks per month in 2027, providing long-term stability and engagement in the role.

The team comprises three Interventional Radiologists and two APPs, collaborating to deliver top-tier interventional radiology services. Qualifications

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Must hold an active Michigan medical license, as IMLC or compact licenses are not accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Preference for local providers, with mileage reimbursement provided, although travel providers can be considered for extended coverage periods.
• A clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred, with a National Practitioner Data Bank self-query required at presentation.
