We are seeking a Locum General Radiologist to join their team in Springfield, MA, starting as soon as credentialed. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services across hospital and outpatient locations. You will be part of a team of 6 radiologists (after February) supported by a full complement of staff, serving a diverse patient population ranging from children to geriatrics.
-Schedule: Days; Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
-Location: Springfield, MA.
-Team: 6 Radiologists with full support staff.
-Charting: Epic / PowerScribe / PACS.
Job Responsibilities
-Support an Emergency Department with a daily volume of approximately 120 patients.
-Demonstrate proficiency or specific interest in Nuclear Radiology (specifically thyroid).
-Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the utmost dignity and safety for patients at all times.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Massachusetts license or pending MA application with proof of submission date [REQUIRED].
-Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS [REQUIRED].
-Experience: Prior experience or demonstrated interest in Nuclear Radiology [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Most recent Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the month) required at time of presentation.
Working Hours
-Weekend/Call: No weekend or on-call requirements.
