Job description
We are seeking a Locum to Perm General Radiologist to join their team in Springfield, MA. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services across both hospital and outpatient settings. You will join a collaborative team of radiologists (6 total after February) supported by a full complement of staff, serving a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
-Schedule: Days; Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
-Location: Springfield, MA.
-Team: 6 Radiologists with full support staff.
-Charting: Epic / PowerScribe / PACS.
Job Responsibilities
-Support an Emergency Department with an annual volume of approximately 120 patients per day.
-Demonstrate proficiency or interest in Nuclear Radiology (specifically thyroid).
-Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Massachusetts license or pending MA application with proof of submission [REQUIRED].
-Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS [REQUIRED].
-Experience: Prior experience or demonstrated interest in Nuclear Radiology [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the month [REQUIRED] at time of presentation.
Working Hours
-Weekend/Call: No weekend or on-call requirements.
Skills
-Ability to manage variable daily case volumes in a fast-paced hospital setting.
-Strong diagnostic and interpersonal skills for a physician-led clinical environment.
