  • Other Details: Radiologists will be monitored for productivity during their shifts, and if a provider falls below required production standards, they will receive a 15-day notice of cancellation, during which they will continue working and complete their contract, with the possibility of reinstatement if performance improves. Providers are expected to achieve approximately 70 wRVUs per shift, work a minimum of 40 hours per month, maintain at least three months of scheduled shifts, and be credentialed at a minimum of two facilities if remote. The role involves interpreting a high-volume mix of studies, including ER, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric, and mammography diagnostic procedures, across modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, NM, and fluoroscopy, as well as performing light interventional procedures including thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal CT-guided and US-guided procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube placement, cysts, diagnostic lumbar procedures, myelogram, epidural injections, and joint arthrograms of the knee, elbow, hip, ankle, and shoulder. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with full-time coverage requested, a typical volume of 90–100 studies per shift, and 60–70 wRVUs per shift. Board certification is required, and licensing support is available if the provider holds a license valid at another facility. PACS experience with Merge and dictation using Fluency are required, and the contract is ongoing with year-long terms.

Job Responsibilities

* Interpret a high-volume mix of imaging studies including ER, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric, and mammography diagnostic procedures.
* Perform light interventional procedures such as thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal CT-guided and US-guided procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube placement, cysts, diagnostic lumbar procedures, myelogram, epidural injections, and joint arthrograms of the knee, elbow, hip, ankle, and shoulder.
* Maintain productivity standards and achieve expected wRVUs per shift.
* Ensure continuous patient care and documentation.
* Complete and submit modality checklists and comply with all contract and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

* Board certification required.
* Must be licensed, with support available for additional licensing if already licensed at another facility.
* Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology experience preferred.
* Must be credentialed at a minimum of two facilities if working remotely.

Working Hours

* Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* Full-time coverage with a minimum of 40 hours per month required.

Skills

* Proficiency in XR, CT, MR, US, NM, and fluoroscopy.
