- Other Details: We are seeking a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with an unrestricted California medical license, DEA registration, BLS or ACLS certification, EPIC EMR experience, and at least 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience to provide remote evening and weekend coverage for adult and geriatric patients. The role involves interpreting MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain film studies, managing high-volume shifts of approximately 120–150 studies, and covering emergency department imaging, including occasional pediatric trauma cases. Providers must be able to work independently during evening and weekend shifts, document findings accurately in EPIC, communicate with hospital support staff regarding urgent imaging needs, and maintain a clean background with no malpractice claims. Preferred candidates will have body imaging experience and the ability to read prostate studies. Shifts include weekday evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (or 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.), weekend evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (or 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.), with occasional weekday day shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No call is required.

Job Responsibilities
* Cover emergency department imaging, including potential pediatric trauma cases
* Manage high-volume shifts, reading approximately 120–150 studies per shift
* Work independently during evening and weekend shifts, ensuring timely and accurate interpretations
* Document findings and maintain patient records in EPIC EMR
* Communicate with hospital staff and support personnel regarding urgent imaging needs
Qualifications
* Unrestricted California medical license
* DEA registration
* BLS or ACLS certification
* Minimum 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience
* Clean background with no malpractice claims
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Body imaging experience preferred; ability to read prostate imaging is a strong plus
Working Hours
* Weekend evening shifts: 3:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. (also 5:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.)
* Some weekday day shifts possible: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (8 hours)
* Remote coverage, no call required
Skills
* Ability to work independently and manage high-volume imaging shifts
* Familiarity with EPIC EMR for documentation and workflow
* Comfort interpreting emergency imaging studies, including pediatric trauma
