🏥 Position Overview
We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite locum opportunity in Georgetown, South Carolina. This position involves providing general diagnostic radiology coverage with light interventional radiology (IR) while supporting imaging services across affiliated facilities.
This role offers consistent daytime coverage and the opportunity to work in a collaborative imaging environment until a permanent provider is hired.
👨⚕️ Eligible Provider
✔️ MD / DO – Diagnostic Radiologist
✔️ Fellowship Trained
✔️ Board Eligible or Board Certified
✔️ Active South Carolina License (or eligible to apply with FCVS)
🔎 Key Responsibilities
🩻 Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
🔬 Provide light interventional radiology support as required
📋 Deliver accurate and timely radiology reports
🤝 Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams
🏥 Practice Environment
🏥 Hospital-based radiology department
🖥️ EPIC EMR system used for documentation and reporting
🚫 No trauma designation required
📍 Onsite coverage required
📅 Schedule & Coverage
📆 Flexible daytime schedule
📍 Ongoing assignment until a full-time provider is hired
Providers may support imaging services across multiple affiliated sites, depending on scheduling and credentialing needs.
⚠️ Important Requirements
📑 Active South Carolina license required prior to start (or eligible with FCVS pathway)
📋 Providers must submit a modality list during credentialing
🛡️ Radiation dosimetry badge required on the first day of assignment
