Locum Tenens – Diagnostic Radiologist
Location: Long Beach, California
Setting: Hospital | Inpatient
EMR: Epic Systems
Start Date: ASAP (once locums privileges obtained)
Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Availability
- Weekend coverage required
- Schedule: Saturday – Sunday
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour onsite shifts)
- Minimum commitment: 2 weekends per month
- No call
- Active, unrestricted California medical license required
- Willing to license: No
- Board Certified – Required
- BLS or ACLS
- DEA – Required
- CSR – Not required
- Minimum 1+ year experience
- Diagnostic / General Radiology
- Body imaging preferred
- Experience with prostate reads
- Emergency department cases
- Pediatric trauma cases
- MRI

- Ultrasound
- Plain films
- Adult diagnostic radiologists average ~14,000 wRVUs annually
- Average reads:
- Weekdays: 130–140
- Weekends: 150–180
- Imaging mix:
- MRI
