A healthcare organization in Georgetown, South Carolina is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with light Interventional Radiology experience to provide onsite locum coverage in a hospital-based imaging department.
This role supports a growing imaging program and will remain open until a permanent physician is hired. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative radiology environment providing general diagnostic imaging interpretation with occasional light IR procedures.
The radiologist may also support imaging interpretation for affiliated facilities within the regional healthcare network.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform and review light interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to support diagnosis
• Maintain detailed radiology reports and documentation using Epic EMR
• Provide imaging interpretation for affiliated facilities when needed
• Ensure accurate and timely imaging diagnostics
• Support radiology department workflow and clinical coordination
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (within 5 years)
• Radiology Fellowship required
• Active South Carolina medical license or FCVS profile
• Experience with general diagnostic imaging and light IR procedures
• Strong familiarity with Epic EMR
Working Hours
Assignment Type: Ongoing locum coverage until permanent physician is hired
