Locum Tenens | Diagnostic Radiology | No Call | Philadelphia, PA Why This Role

  • Consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities
  • Broad diagnostic case mix with light IR procedures
  • Hospital and imaging center setting with steady case volume
Assignment Details Monday through Friday schedule 8:00am–5:00pm shifts On-site coverage in hospital and imaging center Daily volume approximately 90–100 studies Estimated 60–70 wRVUs per shift Clinical Details General diagnostic radiology coverage Modalities include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy Light IR procedures including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms Biopsies include thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal, CT-guided and ultrasound-guided Drainages include paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tube, and cyst drainage Lumbar punctures including diagnostic LP, myelogram, and epidural Arthrograms including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle Requirements Board Certified Diagnostic Radiology Active Pennsylvania license Active DEA Self-Query NPDB dated within 30 days required at presentation Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
