A medical center in Kittanning, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite locum assignment beginning November 2025. This role offers a diverse case mix, advanced imaging modalities, and consistent daily volumes in a dynamic clinical setting.
Ideal for a board-certified radiologist comfortable managing high-volume diagnostic reads along with light interventional procedures.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage subspecialty case mix including ER, Neuro, MSK, Pediatrics, and Mammography diagnostic procedures
• Perform light interventional radiology procedures
• Conduct image-guided biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal)
• Perform drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts)
• Complete lumbar punctures and myelograms
• Perform arthrograms and joint injections
• Maintain productivity expectations of 90–100 cases per 8-hour shift
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License – Required
• DEA Registration – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days of presentation) – Required
