Job Responsibilities

  • Cover hospital and outpatient imaging needs, focusing on interventional radiology procedures and stroke CTs.
  • Conduct lumbar punctures, barium studies, centesis exams, and biopsies.
  • Perform IR procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, and more.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Current State License in California
  • Residency and Fellowship in Radiology
  • BLS and DEA certifications
  • CA Fluoroscopy certification required at submission
  • Malpractice history must be clean

Working Hours

  • Varied shifts
  • On-call availability and weekend coverage required

Skills

  • Proficient in acute care imaging, including ED and ICU studies
  • Demonstrated procedural skills, especially in interventional radiology
  • Ability to interpret a high volume of imaging studies daily
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with Diagnostic Imaging staff
