Locums | Pediatric Radiology | Clinic + Call | Detroit, MI Why This Role

  • Ongoing pediatric radiology locum opportunity at a dedicated children’s hospital
  • Onsite coverage with a predictable block schedule
  • Teaching environment with resident interaction
  • Opportunity for consistent 1-week-per-month coverage
Assignment Details Start date: ASAP Ongoing coverage Preferred schedule: 1 week per month - Ideal coverage: Monday–Sunday - Will consider Thursday–Sunday blocks Shift expectations: - Monday–Friday: 4:00pm–12:00am onsite, call 12:00am–8:00am - Saturday–Sunday: 12:00pm–8:00pm onsite, call 8:00pm–8:00am Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call Practice setting: Inpatient EMR: Transitioning to Sectra starting January Temporary privileges available Clinical Details Pediatric-only radiology coverage Average volume: approximately 60 studies per shift Reads include: - X-ray - Ultrasound - Stat CT - Stat MRI Provider must come onsite for fluoroscopy cases Assigned patient call model Teaching environment with resident supervision Requirements Board Certified Diagnostic Radiology Pediatric Radiology Fellowship required CAQ certified or CAQ eligible in Pediatric Radiology Active Michigan license BLS required Clean malpractice history Case logs required and must be submitted with bid Compensation Rates: Facility accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel and lodging: Reimbursed per facility policy
