We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician in Radiology to support our dynamic team in Wooster, OH. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a high-volume emergency department setting, providing critical images for patient diagnoses and treatment plans. If you thrive under pressure, possess strong diagnostic skills, and are committed to excellence, this position is perfect for you.
Required Skills:
- Proven proficiency in interpreting a wide range of radiologic images, including CT (excluding CT Cardiac), MR, US, XR, and NM.
- Ability to read high-volume ER cases efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with stroke and perfusion imaging.
- Strong understanding of radiologic protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with medical staff.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Subspecialty experience in neuro, MSK, or other relevant areas.
- Familiarity with MERGE imaging platform.
- Previous remote reading experience.
- Certification in advanced imaging modalities or specialized radiology certifications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiology.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency or high-volume radiology settings.
- Prior experience with stroke and perfusion imaging highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Active medical license to practice in Ohio.
- Ability to work remotely and adhere to shift schedules.
- Commitment to providing top-tier patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, up to 8-hour shifts.
- Access to reliable internet and appropriate home office setup.
