Radiologist Job Details

• Imaging Modalities: X-ray (XR), CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine
• Subspecialty Case Mix: Emergency radiology, neuroradiology, pediatric imaging, mammography, diagnostic procedures
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $5780-$6850

Radiologist Qualifications

• Board Certification in Radiology (required)
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (required)
• DEA Registration (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies

Radiologist Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine
• Perform light interventional radiology procedures: biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal), CT/US-guided procedures, and drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts)
• Conduct diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidurals, and arthrograms (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder)
• Manage a daily volume of 90-100 imaging studies per 8-hour shift
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
