Diagnostic Radiologist Job Details

• Location: On-site in Charleston, WV 25301
• Position Type: Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist (Travel Contract)
• Start Date: December 29, 2025 (or ASAP)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,000 – $7,500
• Daily Imaging Volume: 90-100 studies per shift
• Imaging Modalities: X-ray (XR), CT, MRI, Ultrasound (US), Nuclear Medicine (NM)
• Sub-specialty Case Mix: Emergency Radiology (50%), Nuclear Medicine (20%)
• On-Call: No
• Weekends: No

Diagnostic Radiologist Qualifications

• Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility via IMLC (required)
• DEA Registration (required)
• Proficiency in virtual colonoscopies (required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Radiologist Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, on-site
• Provide accurate and timely radiology reports for a high-volume caseload
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize advanced imaging technology and maintain compliance with healthcare regulatory and quality standards
• Demonstrate expertise in virtual colonoscopies and emergency radiology cases
