We are actively seeking an experienced Remote General Radiologist for a locum tenens diagnostic radiology assignment supporting hospital-based imaging services. Job Responsibilities
• Read and report on X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound imaging exams
• Provide imaging support for emergency department and neuro cases
• Maintain timely turnaround times for high-volume imaging workflows
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care decisions
• Utilize Epic EMR, PACS, and voice dictation systems for reporting
• Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and quality standards
• Cover assigned rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as scheduled
Qualifications
• Active Florida Medical License required
• DEA Registration required
• Clean malpractice and professional history
• Proven experience in remote radiology or teleradiology settings preferred
• Ability to manage high daily imaging volumes efficiently
• NPDB self-query report required within 30 days of presentation
Working Hours
• Weekday coverage includes daytime and evening shifts
• Weekend shifts may include overnight or early morning coverage
• Shift preferences noted at time of submission
Skills
• Strong proficiency in CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging
• Experience with emergency and neuro radiology cases
• Familiarity with Epic EMR, PACS, and dictation platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
• Ability to perform in high-volume, remote clinical environments
