We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for a remote locum tenens radiology opportunity supporting a hospital-based imaging department in Charleston, West Virginia. The assignment focuses on high-volume diagnostic imaging interpretation in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple imaging modalities, including PET imaging, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced teleradiology workflow serving emergency and inpatient settings.
Job Responsibilities
• Read and report X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET studies
• Deliver timely imaging results for emergency and inpatient cases
• Maintain productivity standards in a high-volume radiology environment
• Ensure accurate documentation within PACS and radiology information systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to support patient diagnosis
• Follow established radiology quality assurance and compliance guidelines
Qualifications
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility via IMLC
• DEA registration required
• Demonstrated proficiency in PET imaging interpretation
• Experience with remote or teleradiology practice preferred
• Ability to meet volume and turnaround time expectations
• Recent NPDB Self-Query report within required timeframe
Working Hours
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No call responsibilities
• No weekend coverage
