We are actively recruiting a Locum General Radiologist Physician for a travel radiology job in Springfield, Massachusetts. This short-term locum tenens radiology opportunity offers a weekday-only day shift schedule, no call, and no weekends. The position supports both hospital and outpatient imaging services and provides access to advanced radiology systems in a collaborative clinical environment. Job Responsibilities
• Perform professional reads across a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Review nuclear radiology cases, including thyroid imaging, as applicable
• Utilize Epic EMR, PowerScribe, and PACS for efficient reporting and workflow
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses
• Maintain quality, compliance, and patient safety standards in accordance with best practices
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts medical license or pending MA license with documented submission
• Prior experience or strong interest in Nuclear Radiology
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Working Hours
• Day Shift (approximately 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No call and no weekend coverage
Skills
• Nuclear radiology knowledge preferred
• Proficiency with Epic, PACS, and PowerScribe
• Strong analytical, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume radiology environments
