A locum tenens opportunity is available for Interventional Radiologists in a prominent hospital setting. This role involves a blend of onsite and remote work with a focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered care. The position requires a commitment to a busy department, servicing a wide age range including neonates and geriatrics. The assignment begins as soon as credentialing is complete and may extend based on departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide interventional radiology services in a high-volume clinical environment
  • Collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient-centered care
  • Navigate hybrid onsite/remote workflow models

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the ABR or AOBR
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (highly preferred)
  • Active CT license or IMLC at the time of submission
  • Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and current radiology IT platforms
  • Experience with US and stereotactic guided procedures

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 24-hour call coverage including nights and weekends

  • Proficiency in high-volume clinical environments
  • Excellent communication skills for patient and team interaction
