Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct mammography readings, diagnoses, and biopsies in a high-volume department.
  • Collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Maintain credentialing in accordance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize EPIC, PowerScribe, and PACS systems for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or Board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging is highly preferred.
  • Active Connecticut medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
  • Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and radiology IT platforms.
  • DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification (or eligibility to obtain both).
  • Current BLS certification required.

Working Hours

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekends or on-call shifts

  • Experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models.
  • Ability to work in high-volume clinical environments within an integrated health system.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency with US and stereotactic guided biopsies, aspirations, and localizations.
