ABOUT THE JOB:
general diagnostic radiology services across 2 locations, with an option for onsite or remote coverage. The radiologist will join a regional health network (RHN) reading pool and support consistent weekday imaging operations.
START DATE: 04/01/2026
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing (Open)
WORKSITE SETTING: Community Hospital | Non-Trauma facility
SCOPE OF WORK:
General diagnostic radiology services supporting inpatient and outpatient imaging needs across multiple MUSC facilities. Provider will read within a shared RHN reading pool.
VOLUME | SUPPORT:
EMR: EPIC

- Average 70–80 RVUs per shift
- Pool of 4 additional radiologists reading for RHN
- Dedicated administrative coordination through MUS

Qualifications
MD/DO (Physicians only)
Active SC medical license or FCVS
Fellowship: Required
Board Status: Board Eligible within 5 years
Modality list required with submission
Dosimetry badge required on first day of shift
Agency to provide; MUSC reimburses up to $200
Telehealth Experience: Not required
Academic Medical Center Experience: Not required
Working Hours
Flexible Schedule
Primary Coverage (Onsite Preferred):
Mon–Wed: 8:00a–5:00p – Black River
Thurs–Fri: 8:00a–5:00p – Marion
Weekend Day Shifts Available: 7:00a–4:00p (onsite, any location)
Remote Option (If Approved):
Must work 10+ weekday shifts per month
Coverage window: Mon–Fri, 7:00a–5:00p
