Locum Diagnostic Radiologist with Light IR needed near Surfside Beach, SC.
3 Locations to staff
Site 1:
- Reading room with 2 workstations (one is mammo quality). Staffed daily by 1 rad 7am-430 pm.
- Procedure volume is fairly light (8 max, usually less).
- Flouro studies (swallows, UGI, LP, esophagram), US procedures (para, thora, bx), CT procedures (bx, bone marrow, abscess).
- Equipment - 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, US x 2, flouro x 2, xray, Nukes x 1, Mammo x 1. Cath lab is for cardiology and is ancient. No IR lab.
- Breast surgeons and radiologist do stereo bx together on Tuesdays
Site 2:
- Reading room with 2 workstations (one is mammo quality). Staffed daily by 2 rads 7am-430 pm and 9am-530pm.
- Procedure volume can be demanding (12-15 cases).
- Flouro studies: (swallows, UGI, esophagram, LP), US procedures (para, thora, bx), CT procedures (bx, bone marrow, abscess).
- Equipment: 1.5T MRI, 128 slice CT, 64 slice CT, US x 2, flouro , nukes, xray.
Site 3:
- Site is staffed remotely, no rad on site
- Reading room is unused.
- 3T MRI , flouro, and Xray. (No nukes, CT, mammo, or US). Flouro is extremely rare---only arthrograms and the Site 2 rad just walks across the parking lot to do it.
