Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm - Mammography Radiologist
Facility Overview: Join a vibrant practice setting that includes both hospital and outpatient locations in Springfield, Massachusetts. Our facility is well-equipped with a full complement of support staff and utilizes Epic/PowerScribe/PACS for documentation. With an average of 120 patients in the ER per day, you will be part of a team of radiologists, soon to comprise six professionals, following the upcoming departures of two team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform stereotactic biopsies and breast localization procedures.
- Conduct breast ultrasound biopsies.
- Execute mammo and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in team discussions regarding patient diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology - [REQUIRED]
- Proven experience in mammography and related procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle a variable number of cases per day.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts license or pending application with a submission date and estimated approval - [REQUIRED]
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications - [REQUIRED]
- Completion of a self-query NPDB within the month of presentation - [REQUIRED]
- A conversion fee of $25,000 - [REQUIRED]
