Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm Physician - Radiology in Springfield, MA
Join a dynamic healthcare team in Springfield, Massachusetts, at a premier medical facility. This position offers a unique opportunity for a General Radiologist to make a significant impact in both hospital and outpatient settings, with an average of 120 emergency room visits per day. The facility encourages collaboration with a full complement of support staff and offers a rich demographic of patients, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Epic/PowerScribe/PACS is utilized for documentation, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across various modalities.
- Collaborate with a team of 6 radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage in consultations and provide interpretative services for complex cases.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and compliance standards in all interactions.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Active Massachusetts license or a pending application with submission date and estimated approval (REQUIRED).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (REQUIRED).
- Demonstrated interest and prior experience in Nuclear Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Prepared to fulfill a $25k conversion fee (REQUIRED).
- Self-Query NPDB to be completed within the month at the time of presentation (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts state medical license.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
