Locum Physician - Radiology (Mammography) Position in Springfield, MA

We are seeking Locum Mammography Radiologists to start as soon as credentialed, at a well-regarded hospital and outpatient locations in Springfield, Massachusetts. This practice is well-equipped with a full complement of staff, featuring a team of eight radiologists. With an annual ER volume of 120 patients per day and modern documentation systems including Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS, you will find ample opportunities to make an impact in patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammography exams and procedures
• Perform stereotactic biopsies, breast ultrasound biopsies, and breast localization procedures
• Administer mammo and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Collaborate effectively with medical and support staff
• Document patient information accurately using electronic systems
• Manage a variable number of cases each day based on patient flow

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology - [REQUIRED]
• Active Massachusetts license or pending application with submission date and estimated approval - [REQUIRED]
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications - [REQUIRED]
• Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the month) at time of presentation - [REQUIRED]
• Willingness to pay a 25k Conversion Fee - [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
