Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a Locum Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite assignment in Ohio. This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced radiologist who is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with a broad general radiology case mix. The role offers consistent daytime coverage, no night call, and the chance to support an underserved community that relies on locum providers for continuity of care. Weekends available.
Job Responsibilities
-Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic reports
-Collaborate effectively with referring providers and clinical teams
-Manage high-volume workloads while maintaining diagnostic accuracy
Expected workload:
-Weekdays: 60–70 wRVUs per 10-hour day
-Weekends: 70–80 wRVUs per 10-hour day
Case mix:
-X-ray: 50%
-CT: 30%
-MRI: 10%
-Ultrasound: 10%
Qualifications
-General radiology experience required (CT, US, plain film)
-MRI experience preferred
-Mammography a plus, not required
-DEA not required (preferred)
Working Hours
-Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (weekends optional)
-No night call
Skills
-Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
-Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
-Clear, concise communication and reporting
-Proficiency with RIS and PACS platforms
