Locums Diagnostic Radiologist – Hybrid
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Assignment Overview
- Start Date: ASAP
- Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Coverage Type: Hybrid (Remote + On-site as needed)
- Call: No call
- Time Zone: All reads are on Pacific Standard Time (PST)
- Must have own workstation:
- Diagnostic-quality monitor
- Computer capable of radiology reads
- Nevada medical license in hand OR IMLC: Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology: Required
- MD or DO degree: Required
Productivity Expectations
- wRVU Requirement:
- 80–100 wRVUs per 8-hour shift
- Approximately 120 cases per day
- RVU Threshold: 13,000 reviewed quarterly
Schedule & Shift Details
- Coverage Model: Scheduled shifts, no call
- Preferred Commitment: At least one full week per month (flexible)
- Late 1: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (8 hours)
- Late 2: 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM (4 hours)
- Late 3: 3:00 AM – 9:00 AM (6 hours)
- AM and PM shifts available
- Weekend shifts often paid at a higher premium due to last-minute coverage
- Setting: Mix of ER and Outpatient
- Modality Breakdown:
- 50% X-Ray
- 25% CT
- 15% Ultrasound
- 10% MRI
- Priority Experience: CT Perfusion
Systems & Technology
- PACS/Dictation Systems: InteleRad, Clario, NovaRad
- EMR: Cerner
- Utilizes modern PACS, dictation, and AI tools
- Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Collaborate with referring physicians and medical staff
- Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance
- Physician-founded and physician-led radiology group
- Coverage across three hospitals in Nevada
- Two new sites being added, with an additional site expected in February 2026
