- Job Title: Breast Radiologist (Physician)
- Job Type: Locum Tenens/Locum-To-Perm
- Location: Columbia, SC
- Service Setting: Imaging Center and Hospital
- Coverage Type: Clinical Only
- Coverage Period: January 5, 2026 Ongoing
- Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible schedule COVERAGE DATES
- January 2026 and ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Patient Volume/Census: Breast imaging caseload
- Case Mix: Breast imaging services under MQSA guidelines
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Standard radiology equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Department-based support services
- Support Staff Available: Facility staff available on-site
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, contingent on clear background

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license required
- Board: Board Eligible within 5 years
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: MQSA compliance and 24-month case logs required
- Experience: Fellowship required
- Other Qualifications: Physicians only; no telehealth experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret breast imaging studies according to MQSA guidelines
- Provide clinical breast radiology services across designated MUSC sites
- Collaborate with facility staff and medical teams as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Epic
- Comply with facility policies, safety standards, and credentialing requirements
