Locum | Interventional Radiology | Clinic + Call | Springfield, MA Why This Role

  • 3–6 month assignment with strong potential to extend
  • Mix of on-site interventional work and optional remote reads
  • Well-supported radiology team with full complement of staff
Assignment Details Start: February 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p Setting: Hospital-based with some remote work (2–3 days/week, TBD) Reason for need: Two departing providers Team structure: 8 radiologists currently; 6 after departures EMR: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS Patient population: Adolescents through geriatrics Credentialing: 90–120 days Daily volume: Variable; ED sees ~120 patients/day Other: One on-site day required weekly for diagnostic breast imaging Clinical Details Imaging Procedures - Mammography - MRI – brain, spine, basic neuro, MSK - CT - PET/CT - Nuclear medicine - Ultrasound - Pediatric studies - Interventional Procedures - Interventional breast - Thyroid FNA Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology Active MA license BLS & ACLS Ability to perform required IR and diagnostic procedures Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
