We are seeking an experienced Locums Interventional Radiology (IR) Physician to provide high-level procedural and diagnostic care at a busy Level I trauma hospital in Lansing, Michigan. This assignment offers a structured weekday schedule with a predictable rotating call structure.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend
  • Call Requirements:
    • Q3 Call — every third weekday and third weekend
    • Call shared among 1 out of 3 Interventional Radiologists
  • Practice Setting: Hospital-based
  • Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma Center
  • Average Case Volume: ~8 cases per day

Procedures Required

  • Angioplasty
  • Stent placement
  • Embolization
  • Needle biopsy
  • Thrombolysis
  • UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Michigan License
  • BLS & ACLS Certified
