Job description
We are seeking an experienced Locums Interventional Radiology (IR) Physician to provide high-level procedural and diagnostic care at a busy Level I trauma hospital in Lansing, Michigan. This assignment offers a structured weekday schedule with a predictable rotating call structure.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend
- Call Requirements:
- Q3 Call — every third weekday and third weekend
- Call shared among 1 out of 3 Interventional Radiologists
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based
- Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma Center
- Average Case Volume: ~8 cases per day
Procedures Required
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Needle biopsy
- Thrombolysis
- UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active Michigan License
- BLS & ACLS Certified
