Job description
We are seeking a full-time emergency radiologist to join a collaborative Emergency Radiology group made up of board-certified radiologists with diverse fellowship training, including neuroradiology, pediatric imaging, abdominal imaging and musculoskeletal imaging. This team works closely with musculoskeletal specialists to provide continuous, 24-hour imaging coverage for a high-acuity emergency department within a Level I Trauma Center.
Position Summary:
• 7 on 14 off schedule
• Overnight, 10-hour shift from 8pm - 6am CST
• The Emergency Radiology section is comprised of board-certified radiologists with varying fellowship specializations, which include neuroradiology, pediatric radiology, abdominal radiology and musculoskeletal radiology
• Provide emergency imaging services across multiple hospital emergency departments
• Must be comfortable with interpretation of Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, and Neuroradiology emergency room related studies at a Level 1 trauma center
• This environment supports developing and expanding professional interests
Estimated volumes per shift are as follows: 30-35 CTs, 10 US, 5 MRIs, and 40-45 X-rays
