Locum Physician - Radiology Opportunity in Springfield, MA

Join a dynamic team at a hospital-based practice in Springfield, Massachusetts! This opportunity is ideal for an Interventional Radiologist starting in February 2026. The facility offers a full complement of support staff and uses advanced documentation systems, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide radiological services including Mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, and Nuc Med.
• Conduct interventional procedures such as interventional breast/thyroid FNA.
• Work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM; additional days can be remote.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 radiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Oversee the annual ER volume of approximately 120 patients per day.
• Utilize teleradiology services 2-3 days per week as needed.
• Support a patient demographic that includes adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Active Massachusetts Medical License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with a wide range of imaging modalities and interventional techniques.
