Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm Interventional Radiologist
Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility located in the vibrant city of Springfield, Massachusetts. This role as an Interventional Radiologist offers a unique blend of hospital-based and remote work, starting in February 2026. The practice is well-equipped with a full complement of support staff and utilizes advanced technologies, including Epic/PowerScribe/PACS for documentation. The facility handles a diverse patient demographic, providing care to adolescents, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of radiological examinations including Mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Pediatric studies.
- Conduct interventional procedures specifically related to breast and thyroid fine-needle aspirations (FNA).
- Collaborate with a team of 6 radiologists and support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Utilize teleradiology for remote readings up to 2-3 days per week.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to keep up to date with advancements in the field.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Active Massachusetts medical license.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
