Job description
This Pennsylvania locum Gastroenterology role starts January 2026 with an ongoing need and requires PA license, BLS, ACLS, DEA, and at least one year of experience. Coverage includes 24-hour call with rounding and 4–6 outpatient endoscopy procedures daily (primarily screening colonoscopies, plus EGD, EUS, and ERCP if applicable). Scheduled blocks run Friday 5 PM to the following Friday 5 PM or 8 AM, with specific dates from January through March and more to follow. Physicians must respond within 30 minutes and manage an average of 8–10 admissions while on call. Rate is $5,000 per 24-hour shift, all-inclusive, with full travel and lodging covered. Candidates must provide exact shifts they can work and ongoing availability after March 2026.

Weekdays: the physician will meet with PA on call at 8am to review patients and round, then will have an average of 5 scheduled outpatient procedures. On call throughout day/evening
Weekend: Call Coverage, but rounding needed in hospital based on volume / patients.
