Locums | Diagnostic or Mammo Radiology | No Call | Scranton, PA Why This Role

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging coverage in a busy outpatient and hospital-based environment
  • Collaborate with an experienced team handling inpatient, ED, and outpatient studies
  • Flexible daytime schedule — 8-hour shifts available between 7a–5p Dates: Flexible scheduling (Tell us your schedule) Will accept someone 1 -2 weeks per month who is mammo only. Urgent Dates: March 9, 10, 11 & 12 (2026)
Assignment Details Coverage Type: No Call Setting: Outpatient (inpatient and ED studies also read) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Schedule: 8-hour shifts (anytime between 7a–5p) Patient Volume: Approximately 100 studies per shift Support Staff: Onsite IR physician and full technologist support EMR: Athena / Cerner Credentialing: 15 days Temporary Privileges: Not available Clinical Details Modalities: MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, General Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Case Mix: General diagnostic studies, ED cases, and outpatient imaging Mammo-Only Option: Accepted for candidates available 1–2 weeks/month Procedures: - CT (general, neuro, angio, biopsies, aspiration/drainage) - MRI (MSK, neuro, breast preferred) - General X-ray, fluoroscopy, Dexa, chest imaging - Mammography (digital, film screen, MQSA certified) - Ultrasound (OB, abdominal, thyroid, pediatric) - Nuclear medicine (general, cardiac, thyroid treatment, SPECT, PET) No IR or vascular work required Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist Active PA license or IMLC BLS and ABLS required Ability to perform diagnostic radiology, mammography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound interpretation Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
