Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic in Kittanning, PA

Are you a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist seeking an impactful role where your expertise makes a difference? We are offering an excellent opportunity to work as a Locum Physician in Kittanning, PA, starting December 31, 2025. This position provides the chance to utilize advanced imaging modalities in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to high-quality patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including XR, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. You will handle subspecialty case mixes such as ER imaging, neuro, pediatric, mammography, and perform light interventional radiology procedures, biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and joint injections. The position offers daily volumes of 90-100 cases, supporting your professional development in a busy clinical environment.

Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license and board certification in Radiology
  • Proven experience in diagnostic imaging modalities (XR, CT, MRI, US, NM, Fluoro)
  • Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and biopsies
  • Excellent diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Subspecialty training or certification (Neuroradiology, Pediatric Radiology, etc.)
  • Prior experience in an outpatient or hospital setting
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Ability to perform image-guided procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency radiology experience
  • Current licensure in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure promptly

Other Requirements:
  • Must be available to start on December 31, 2025
  • Willingness to work onsite during scheduled days (Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm)
  • Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support); other certifications as required
  • Willingness to adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
