Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Part Time Contract Diagnostic Radiology Physician Consultant to join our dynamic team specializing in biomechanical analysis and accident reconstruction. This non-clinical position has two primary components: (1) independent consulting assignments for external clients focused on evaluating radiologic imaging studies, and (2) interpreting imaging studies to support BRC Consultants in injury causation and biomechanical analysis.

Compensation:
This is a contract (1099) position paying $400.00-$450.00 Hour

Job Responsibilities
Additional duties involve directing and reviewing work products from multidisciplinary staff, analyzing technical reports, reviewing relevant literature, and contributing to internal case-related meetings. The role also supports marketing and business development efforts, research and publication initiatives, and corporate events. Candidates will be expected to uphold BRC’s high standards of quality, teamwork, and innovation, and contribute to exploring new business opportunities in radiological and biomechanical analysis.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed Medical Doctor (MD) actively engaged in radiology, American Board of Radiology (ABR) board certified in radiology; have appropriate education, training, and experience; have knowledge and skill about the subject matter; and understand the standard of care.
Ability to effectively communicate and present complex information, ideas, and opinions verbally and in writing to different levels of audience that include colleagues, co-professionals, attorneys, and other professional and non-professional groups and individuals.
Exhibit critical listening and interpersonal skills required to successfully engage and resolve multi-layered accident and product liability related cases with the goal of surpassing client expectations at all phases of the project.
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting MRI’s and CT’s.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have excellent oral and written communication proficiency in the English language.
Certifications/Licenses:
Required - Current American Board of Radiology (ABR) Medical Board Licensure

Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Outlook, Microsoft Windows and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with OsiriX preferred. The ability to adapt to new software and modalities for employing software in an efficient manner is also required.
Travel Required: Yes. Approximately 30% or more as caseload requires.
