Radiology Locums Physician - California, Weekend-Only, No Call
Weekend Radiology assignment in Long Beach, California with no call and high-volume reads; ideal for body imagers seeking supplemental coverage.
Highlights
- No call required
- Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Choose your weekends; 1+ per month available
- Credentialing in 30 days
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital-based radiology team
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Supported by hospital-based staff
- Charting in Epic
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts each weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
- Onsite training required (2 weekday sessions before start)
- Coverage ongoing through 2026
Cases and Procedures
- Heavy mix of CT and plain films, plus MRI and ultrasound
- No cardiac, breast, or nuclear medicine reads
- Average 150-180 RVUs per day on weekends
Requirements
- Board Certified in Radiology
- Active California license required
- BLS or ACLS and DEA
