This role supports a busy radiology department within a full-service, not-for-profit acute care hospital. The position requires a radiologist comfortable with a high volume of ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging, with onsite responsibilities for mammography and fluoroscopy.

Worklist Platform: Merge Workflow Orchestrator integrated with Fluency voice recognition

Imaging Volume:

ER Studies: 120–145 exams/day

Total Volume: 346–382 exams/day

Mammography: Mix of screening, diagnostic, and biopsy

Case Mix: Primarily ER and inpatient (CT/X-ray heavy), with outpatient MRI/US and routine screening mammography

Coverage Model:

Remote reads provided through Northern Light’s network

Onsite coverage needed for mammography and fluoroscopy

Locums Logistics:

Privileges include general diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and potentially mammography

Onsite orientation and hospital credentialing required

Remote access via Merge Workflow platform

Required Skills and Qualifications

Required:
-
Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist

Active Florida Medical License or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)

MQSA-certified for mammography (especially for onsite/day shifts)

Comfortable reading a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies
