Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Windber, PA

Are you a skilled radiologist seeking a dynamic locum opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We are looking for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide high-quality imaging and interventional procedures in a hospital setting. This role offers the flexibility to work on-site for 1-2 weeks per month, contributing to diverse diagnostic and therapeutic cases that ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Overview:
As a Locum Interventional Radiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering advanced interventional imaging services, including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms. Your expertise will support a busy hospital environment, helping to facilitate timely diagnoses and treatments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to maintain clinical skills, gain diverse experience, and contribute to a dedicated healthcare team.

Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid radiology license in Pennsylvania
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology with subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology
  • Proven proficiency in performing interventional procedures including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms
  • Strong diagnostic imaging skills in XR, CT, MRI, and Fluoroscopy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior locum or hospital-based radiology experience
  • Certification in specific interventional procedures or additional training in advanced imaging techniques
  • Experience with multi-modality imaging and complex case management

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience in a hospital setting
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or in the licensing process

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on December 31, 2025
  • Ability to work days, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Willingness to work on-site as needed for 1-2 weeks per month
  • Compliance with all hospital and state-specific licensing, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
