Job description
- Seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with mammography and breast biopsy experience for outpatient coverage. Candidate must meet MQSA requirements for mammography and be proficient in reading studies across all modalities.
- This position offers a recurring schedule of one week every other month starting January, for 6–9 months.
Job Responsibilities
Interpret imaging studies including CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound, and X-rays
Conduct image-guided procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, nephrostomy tubes, etc.)
Maintain MQSA standards (960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months)
Collaborate with radiology techs and support staff to ensure smooth workflow
Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting
Qualifications
Active State Medical License – REQUIRED
Completed Diagnostic Radiology Residency – REQUIRED (no fellowship required)
Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies – REQUIRED
BLS, ACLS, and DEA – REQUIRED
Clean malpractice history preferred
Working Hours
No call requirements
Coverage: One week every other month for up to 6–9 months (starting January)
