Radiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity – Western Colorado (Near Grand Junction)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a 49-bed hospital in Western Colorado, just outside Grand Junction. This position offers the chance to serve a welcoming rural community while working alongside a dedicated care team in a modern, well-supported setting.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Schedule: 10 days per month (typically 3 days one week, 2 days the next)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Setting: Onsite only
- Call: None required
- Credentialing: Expedited process available
- Board Certification in Radiology
- Active Colorado license or eligibility through IMLC
- Biopsies: lung, liver, bone
- Mammography procedures (screening and diagnostic)
- Fluoroscopy (including esophagrams, barium studies; excludes cardiac procedures)
- Technical procedures: thoracentesis, paracentesis, Savvy stereo device and Scout equipment use
- Teleradiology group provides timely reads for most studies, allowing the onsite radiologist to prioritize procedures.
- X-Ray: ~50
- CT: ~25
- Mammography: ~15
- Ultrasound: ~18
- MRI: 5–8
- EMR: Meditech
- PACS: Infinitt
- Dictation: MModal
