Locum Radiology Need in California

Coverage Needed:

• October 1, 2025 - ongoing
• On-site daytime shifts: 8am-5pm, minimum 5 shifts per month. Candidates must be willing to work an equal share of Fridays.
• Remote evening shifts: Ending at 1am, with start times between 4pm-9pm. Minimum 5 shifts per month.
• Remote weekend/holiday shifts: 10am-midnight or any subset within. Minimum 3 shifts per month.
• Weekend coverage is preferred, with potential reduction in minimum shifts if weekends are covered.

Clinical Details:

• Modalities: CT, MRI, X-ray, US, NM or some subset thereof.
• Procedures: GI Fluoro studies, lumbar puncture (if on-site), none (if tele).
• Estimated wRVU/hour: 7 for on-site, 10 for remote evening, 8 for remote weekend/holiday.
• Average Daily Census: 60-90 wRVUs.
• Support Staff: Locum working alongside a team.
• EMR: PACs (Picture Archiving and Communication System): Change, Voice recognition system: Nuance Powerscribe One.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Chest, Body/Abdomen, or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Experience in brain and spine MRI, stroke protocol CT/CTA/CTP required.
• Active California license and CA RHL
• Prefer candidates residing in Hawaii or PST time zones, preferably LA or Orange Counties.
• CA x-ray operator and supervisor permit required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with no employment gaps greater than 0.5 year.
• On-site presence highly preferred; teleradiology considered for well-qualified candidates.
