Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Radiologist for a 78-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Massachusetts. Starting 10/13/2025, this opportunity offers flexible scheduling, with the potential for 2-3 shifts per week from 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be MQSA certified and comfortable performing screenings, diagnostics (mammography and ultrasound), and biopsies. Responsibilities include handling digital screenings, 3D mammography, and some ultrasound procedures. This position offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Schedule: Flexible, 8 am to 5 pm, 2-3 shifts per week


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform digital screenings and 3D mammography

• Conduct diagnostic mammography and ultrasound procedures

• Carry out breast biopsies

• Handle approximately 30-35 screenings per shift

• Manage 10 diagnostic procedures (mammography and ultrasound) per shift

• Perform 2-4 biopsies per shift

• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system


Additional Information:

• MQSA certification required

• Must be licensed in Massachusetts

• Flexible scheduling with consistent availability each month required

• Experience with breast imaging and interventional procedures preferred
