Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated diagnostic Radiologist to provide essential services either remotely or onsite in Carmichael, California. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a locum position to work night shifts. The facility is a hospital setting that serves both emergency department and inpatient needs. Our team is currently short-staffed and is in urgent need of a professional who can efficiently handle diagnostic studies. Provider must reside in California, Colorado, Michigan, South Carolina, or Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging services including MR, CT, US, and X-Ray.
• Read and interpret an average of 20-25 ultrasound studies and 25-30 CT/MR studies, or 150-200 X-rays daily.
• Utilize the EMR system (Cerner) for documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide coverage for all required days, Monday through Sunday.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Radiology - Required
• ACTIVE CA License - Required
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
• Ability to read MR, CT, US, and X-ray studies is a must.
• Experience with PACS and voice recognition systems is advantageous.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Radiology
• Active California Medical License
