Remote Radiology opening in Waterloo, Iowa - 27 miles from Iowa City, IA Position Details:

• Seeking a remote-only radiologist for our team in Waterloo, IA
• The hospital is a 204-bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley and is the busiest hospital in the area. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. ¬†- 3 critical access hospitals and multiple outpatient clinics
• Stable, well-established group of radiologists
• State-of-the-art equipment with highly trained technical staff
• Supportive administration and full IT system support
• Designated Trauma and Primary Stroke Center
• Fully integrated clinic and hospital systems: EPIC EMR, Radiant, and integrated PACS for improved care coordination Responsibilities:
• Remote only
• Readings limited to emergency and inpatient exams (CT, X-ray, ultrasound, occasionally MRI)
• Schedule Swing shift: One week on / one week off * Weekdays: 4:00 PM ‚Äì 11:00 PM * Weekends: 8:00 AM ‚Äì 5:00 PM ¬†
• ABR/AOBR Certified or Eligible radiologist with fellowship training and/or clinical
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician‚Äôs field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
