- Other Details: Coverage is needed while the facility recruits for permanent Body Imaging radiologists. This is a hospital-based position with coverage for three locations. Remote candidates with strong body imaging experience are welcome, though on-site presence is preferred. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center, while two other facilities are Level II. Call is negotiable. Daily case volumes vary by rotation and may include approximately 30–35 CTs, 100 X-rays, or 60 ultrasounds. Required modalities include CT, ultrasound, and body MRI. There are 40 FTE radiologists, with 9 reading CT and 4 reading body MR. The role covers adult patients only—no pediatric reads are required. Candidates must be board certified, have an active Illinois license, and hold current BLS certification.

Job Responsibilities
* Provide diagnostic imaging services for three hospital-based locations
* Participate in a rotating call schedule (negotiable)
* Read studies for trauma-designated facilities, including Level I and Level II centers
* Document findings using Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS, and Softek Illuminate systems
* Collaborate with a team of radiologists (40 FTE, including 9 reading CT and 4 reading body MR)
* Provide care for adult patients; no pediatric reads required
Qualifications
* Active Illinois state medical license
* Current BLS certification
* Willing to work on-site; remote candidates with strong body imaging experience also considered

* Call schedule and ratio are negotiable
* Estimated credentialing time: 3 months
